Programs

New Horizons Montessori focuses on the education and development of children, hence the environment is geared towards learning academic skills, manners of grace and courtesy from the very young age of 18 months. From ages 1-1/2 to 6 years all our children enjoy the benefits of the Montessori Method.
The following table summarizes our Programs and scheduled sessions:

• For the youngest children (18 months to 3 years) we offer a Half-day, Full Day and Full Day Extended Montessori program starting 3 days per week and increasing to 5 days per week.
• We offer a Half-day, Full Day and Full Day Extended Primary program for children ages between 3 and 6.
• For kindergarten ages (5 and 6) we offer both a Full-Day Montessori Kindergarten program and a Half-Day Kindergarten Enrichment program that includes a lunch period. Half-Day Kindergarten Enrichment is suitable for children who attend the half day Kindergarten programs at area schools and wish to enhance their learning experience by attending the other half of the day at New Horizons Montessori.
• All students who dismiss in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m. can take advantage of our After Care program and remain at the school as late as 6 p.m.
• New students, returning students, and alumni ages 18 months to 12 years may enroll in any of our programs for Summer Camp on a weekly basis, if they wish, during the months of July and August.
