After Care

After the end of the school day, between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Siblings and friends of our regular school children and other children from nearby communities may attend our Kiddie Soccer, Home Work Help Program, Fit-Kids Program, Bollywood Dance or Academic Enrichment Programs. These programs are set up separately during the hours of 3:00 – 6:00 pm on different days of the week. After Care provides a safe, supervised, familiar environment for the care of New Horizons Montessori children.

Parents count on After Care to provide a convenient, high-quality childcare option for both scheduled later pick-ups or for unscheduled emergencies.

Whenever possible, After Care staff takes children outside onto the playground. Otherwise, care is provided inside our building. We have ample indoor space that includes a multi-purpose room to cater to the different activities being offered in the After Care .

When inside, children play games, draw, read, sing, hear stories or rest.
Whether inside or outside, children receive a healthy snack between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Not all After Care is an academic program: students do not access Montessori “works” or receive Montessori classroom lessons during After Care.

After Care is available for children enrolled and scheduled to be dismissed by 6:00 p.m.

During the After Care hours New Horizons Montessori children may participate in the optional programs

- Fit-Kids Program

- Academic Enrichment Program

- Bollywood Dance Classes

- Kiddie Soccer
