Pre-Primary
Our Pre-Primary program provides a wonderful first experience of school. This Montessori program is comparable to traditional preschool or nursery school except that the Montessori approach is a holistic one.
It provides children with activities that purposefully develop and promote their natural curiosity, motor and social skills, self-esteem, and cognitive processes.
For the youngest children (18 months to 3 years) our preschool offer a Half-day, Full Day and Full Day Extended Montessori programs starting at 3 days per week and increasing to 5 days per week.
It lays the foundation for future learning and mastery using the Montessori Method. Your child will receive lots of attention with only six (6) children in each supervised group.
Pre-Primary class develops aspects of learning needed to foster the independence and curiosity emblematic of a Montessori child. One such aspect is the child’s ability to exercise self-control and negotiate her surroundings — in Montessori we call this Practical Life.
The class room is prepared to provide a wide range of stimulating activities within a caring, calm environment. The materials are placed low on shelves so children learn to choose and use them independently and productively. Each material has a purpose in helping children develop their potential. As they explore their classroom, absorbing language and concepts, small children gain independence, self-discipline, and social skill.
Through carefully designed activities, and using special Montessori materials and processes, children quickly build a strong developmental foundation both academically and socially.
The class room environment provides freedom of choice and movement. It only limits having respect for others and the environment. Our Montessori materials encourage self-development in an understanding atmosphere of respect and support.
